Eligibility Requirements
All applicants must meet the following criteria in order to be considered for the scholarship.
Must be a resident of Indiana.
Must attend a 2- or 4-year college or law school in the fall of 2021 in the state of Indiana.
The essay must be more than 500 words and less than 1,000 words.
All essays must be uploaded to our website using the form listed below.
Applicants must agree (or, if under the age of 18 years old, a legal guardian or parent must agree) that their essay belongs to Vaughan & Vaughan and our law firm reserves the right to post the essay on our website along with the student’s name and educational institution.
Application Process
The topic of the scholarship prize contest is “why the minimum car insurance liability limits should be higher than $25,000 per person / $50,000 per car accident in Indiana.”
Vaughan & Vaughan wants to hear your thoughts about this important topic.
Students may only submit one essay for consideration for a scholarship prize. All work must be original content. Any plagiarized content will not be considered and will result in the student being disqualified from the essay contest.

Name, phone number and address
Name and address of your school
Brief (two to three sentences) description of yourself
Your essay as a Microsoft word document (.docx or .doc format)
Digital photo of yourself (1MB max file size, .png or .jpg format only)
Proof of enrollment or copy of your school transcript
If you are under 18 years old, a signed waiver with your guardian’s or parent signature
