Application Process

To enter the contest, interested applicants must fill out the application form to completion. The essay must include a personal statement (clarified in the 2nd essay question). ALL sources used in the essay must have proper citation. Most preferred writing formats are MLA and APA. The student’s essay will contain a minimum word count of 1,000 words and a maximum of 1,500 words.
Essay Questions:
1) How can society improve through the use of digital public records?
2) As a public employee, how do you believe access to public records can affect you and your community.
Deadline:
The entry deadline is December 10th, 2019. All entries will have to be submitted that day or earlier. The
winner will be announced on or near January 15th, 2020.
