Application Process

The law firm awards an annual $2,500 scholarship to a student who writes the best essay about whether technological advancements in motor vehicles have improved the safety of the driving public or created more distractions and, therefore, more risk.
Even a one or two-second distraction can result in a catastrophic accident that can change someone’s life forever. “Our goal is to raise awareness of the problem that is distracted driving,” said attorney Matthew Bligh. “We also hope the scholarship award empowers a student interested in tackling the distracted driving problem.”
