Eligibility Requirements
The essay contest is open to juniors and seniors in high school as well as students enrolled in two-year and four-year colleges and universities and graduate school programs in Nevada and throughout the United States. Applicants who are 17 years old or younger will need to provide parental consent to enter.
Applicants should submit an essay as a Word document or PDF, a digital photo of themselves and a school transcript.
Application Process
To enter the Criminal Justice Essay Contest, students should submit an original essay on the following topic:
Discuss what should be done, if anything, by social media and other internet companies to help curb and prosecute cases involving cyberbullying and harassment.

Students should submit an original essay of approximately 500 words.
By submitting an application and essay, you acknowledge that if you are selected as winner, Adras & Altig will own all rights to publish, distribute and promote the essay.
By accepting a prize, all winners grant Adras & Altig the right to use their name, biographical information and photograph for marketing purposes.
The winners will be chosen by a selection committee. Submission of a plagiarized essay will result in disqualification. The decisions of the committee are final.
Employees of Adras & Altig, its boards of directors and immediate family members are not eligible to enter the essay content.
