Eligibility Requirements
One scholarship will be for $2,500 granted to a minority student in his/her final year of teacher preparations, which includes student teaching.
One scholarship will be for $1,500 granted to a minority paraprofessional career-changer in his/her final year of teacher preparation, which includes student teaching.
Up to two scholarships will be for $1,500 granted to a minority graduate student who is pursuing a school administrator credential.
Application Process
Application materials will be posted on the AASPA website on February 1st, 2018 and must be submitted online by Wednesday, May 31, 2018 to amy@aaspa.org.
In addition to the application, a letter from your designated college representative (dean, advisor, professor, counselor); a letter from a character reference (pastor, volunteer organization, teacher, manager) and an unofficial transcript must be included with this application or emailed to amy@aaspa.org no later than the application deadline on Wednesday, May 31, 2018. All emailed files should be labeled with your last name.
